Casino Royale and Quantom of Shit

Decided to finally watch both of the Daniel Craig Bond Movies, and i’ve gotta say…Casino Royale is really good…albeit i feel like it’s missing something…can’t place it…but yea, good film.

On the other hand, i also watched Quantom Of Solace…started out with a pretty nice car-chase, but pretty much everything after the title sequence loses the fucking plot in a tornado and turns into a Bourne movie half-way in. And the reasoning  of all the chases/fights/killings in the film is to prevent the plot from being revealed (which is pretty fucking amazing…..ly not-bond and more like a captain planet episode) http://www.mengsbizarreadventure.com/uploads/QoSplot.JPG SPOILS THE PLOT IF YOU CAN EVEN GIVE A FUCK.

Tribes 2 + Smokin’ Guns Standalone Released

Great!

Word travels fast on the internet, just ask professional wikipedian George Washington for the full scoop.

But enough about that.

There’s a new master server/account system for Tribes 2 called TribesNext (I don’t know what that means), apparently Vivendi shut down the official Tribes listing and authentication servers back in November of last year and this thing popped up a few days ago. You can download the full version of Tribes 2 from their website, they also have the multiplayer patch either seperate or bundled together with the game.

I was looking up some people’s problems with the GPU fans, and i noticed some people mentioning Rivatuner, so i downloaded it on my pc really quick to avoid meltdown, checked a button that said ”return all setting to default” and rebooted, next thing i know the fan works perfectly.

Why did i even think it was a good idea to go to Techbums, of all the places to help fuck up my pc, it’s the guys who say they know best.

I got dem ”My Graphics Card Fan is busted” Blues…

As the title suggests, or obviously states more like…my pc’s got a problem, which is that whenever i turn it on, my graphics card slowly boils from a humble 45C’s to 120C’s and then decides to shut down before it melts my entire PC. I can’t do anything about it till monday so i’m just spending some time playing on my DS (New fire Emblem Game, DQ4, and a point&Click game called Time Hollow which is pretty good but pretty short aswell) and downloaded some NES and SNES games to play to pass the time. Think i’m gonna finish all the MegaMan games cause i got a bit inspired after hearing Wily’s theme from MM2 again.

After a long time,  I’ve finally made another AAAP. I was hoping to finish it alot earlier, but a really nicely timed PC crash and people on vent wanting me to play L4D postponed my completion. But here it is in all its glory. This piece was inspired by a forum post on the mega64ums. Basically the guy says his arch nemesis is red… That makes sense since his name is blue… hahahahah. Anyways, this pic tells the story of blue, who finds his cookie jar empty… Who could’ve done this? Well… Just look at the pic nicCUH.

Since peeps have been complaining that I don’t draw an AAAP daily (that’s Anony’s Artful Art Pics for the, you know, uninformed heheehemHerrhmHMMHahoHEEhoHAAMRMRSBBFFFFWEEEEOOOOOOOOOOCCChhooooooooo… that was an explosion at the end of that laugh), I decided that I should upload these sketches I did in my notebook during my algebra class. Since it was all review, I payed no attention what so ever. So, to waste time, I doodled a bunch of random shti. And here it is now… Enjoy.

Then we talked about the issue of When Duke Nukem Forever was going to be released, i told him that the release date is relevant to when 3D realms feels the game is truly ready to rock it’s audience and blow away it’s very strong opposition, and i also stated that they needed to feel happy with the engine they were building on. My opponent counter-debated with a simple ”WHEN IT’S DONE”. He got 5/5 HD comments for that statement while i got a banana.

I needed a quick change of tactics for the next 3 issues, otherwise i was gonna lose quite badly. So i came up with an ultimate plan which you’ll be reading about in just a second….

Next issue was a more action oriented one, we were both forced to play Dragonforce’s quite excellent Through The Fire And The Flames on Beatmania at 4x speed, wavey, drunk and upside down. My opponent was trying to learn what keys to press while i was tapping those keys so fast it felt like i really was part of the band playing at a live concert next to 500,000 blond metalheads. Needless to say i ”d3str0y3d” him quite badly, i did.

Then we were required to make a photoshop of a man getting an orange shoved up his bum, this was quite tricky but eventually i managed to pull it off and make an excellent image, while my opponent simply glued an image of an orange onto an apple, he called it ”artistic” while i thought it was simply……unsavoury. Crowd was not impressed with his art-studentry in the least bit.

Our Last issue of debate was which issue was truly the worst in the world and needed to be dealt with. I simply responded with ”my opponent’s momma”, he was dumbstruck and down for the count! he had simply this to say (see below pic).

My PC JUST crashed like 5 seconds ago!

Hey dudes, looks like i’ve pulled another one. *sigh*

So where do I begin? Well I was merely trying to overclock my graphics card so I could play SBCG4AP and Jesus Christ, it really upset my heatsink! The thing started steaming pretty bad, I noticed puffs of smoke coming out of my USB ports so I inspected it further and came to the conclusion that my graphics card had taken an excellent hit. The fans were going haywire like that one puzzle in Half-Life 1, the floppy drive was shooting out blanks and my computer turned into a techno EGA screensaver.

An e-Knight’s Tale - Chapter Two: A View 2 a Scrim

When last i wrote, i had acquired a sponsor, now all i needed was to scout and recruit some clannies to get this show on the road. I had found a few guys nearby showing off some skill, but still showed signs of scrubbery. So we went training. First thing we did was get some proper Sparring Practice done, I made a clip to show off to new recruits incase we ever need to show them the process of being turned into a man. After that we had some accuracy training, cause these boys gotta know their way around a Ranged weapon. We had our first official scrim with some Local CAL-O n00bs, we challenged them to a match and they accepted. I made a Fragvideo to show off how much we destroyed them. Needless to say we wr3cked them and none of my hard-trained clanmates got fragged even ONCE!. After a few scrims with the local scrubs, my sponsor wanted me to report in at a local tournament, wanted me to look snappy aswell (LOL!), she wanted me to start getting some PR done for our team, get the word spreading that we were gonna be the hottest shit in the pro circuit since Team3D. She also said next week we were going on our first official Tournament Scrim with some other pro-leaguers. I already KNOW were ready to eliminate the competition, but some of the guys are a bit skeptical. I’m gonna make sure we practice day-in day-out cause if we can’t break through this first Tourney, we’ve got no chance at this! I’m signing out for now, but be on the look out for us.

An e-Knight’s Tale - Chapter One: Y So Srs?

It All began with me looking at the sunset on the field of battle one faithful morning, as i prepared to fight some scrubs who claimed to be CPL material. I pulled out my Rocket Launcher, they pulled out their machineguns, All i could say at the site of that was ”Lma0 noobs”. I Rocket-jumped about 800 feet into the air, did 3 backflips and then proceeded to shove a rocket in the mouth of one of those losers and made them eat their words. I told the rest of them that i’d fight them all 1v33 in an official match, they accepted, which was their biggest mistake so far.  That was Yesterday, today i went to go and try to hook up a sponsor for myself, which wasn’t very hard cause of my ”xpl0itz”. Now all i need to do is Scout out some players for the teams i’m arranging. I’ll keep in contact about my Pro Circuit Chivarly every now and then.

The BMP Bros (Alex The Kidd, David Beckham, Anony Moose & Boyce Threepgood) recently dropped a bombshell and that is that their latest blockbuster title is just around the corner. It’s brand new, it’s really cool, and it’s for the SEGA Master System… It’s Anony’s City Folk Ninja 2: The Return of Leetfella! You play as a lovable little green ninja named Meng, don’t let him hear you call him cute though! He’ll slit your throat with one of five ninja stars he holds on his superbelt! What can I say? This game is essentially flawless, we caught a glimpse of the game at E3 and the first thing that crossed our minds was: WOW, these guys are shaking the foundations of SEGA.

“SEGA were working on a parkour game in-house called Faith the Hedgehog, but the game just didn’t look natural. We told them straight up, uh-that if they want to make it in the video game industry, they would have to stop producing garbage and wasting everyone’s time. Decidedly, we took a very innovative approach for our game.” says a stoked Boyce Threepgood, while sucking on the wrong end of a tootsie pop.

Anony Moose chipped in with a little insight “You can do anything in our game…Kick trash, kick bad guys, kick off a game of footy, that’s actually our philosophy on game design. Beckham actually forced us to put it in but we knew it was the right idea.”
